16th July 2013
Windsurfing: palekastro-kouremenos
Wind Direction: nw
Wind Stength: loads
Surf / Sea State: wind chop
Air Temperature: 30
Sea Temperature: rash vest
Weather: sun
Max Speed:
Distance Covered:

Started with 92l/4.5m. Bit bouncy on outside and on coming to change down Anna had found a 84 l to use so 84l/4m, nice combo. On outside boom clamp rope broke so sat on baord to get rescued and some nearby sailors also went to hire center. Excellent rescue service form Freak Windsurfing and as I came back on boat they closed windsurfing as too windy.
Several guys out on private gear about 3.5m; one guy on ancient board 20+ years old and sail that looked same vintage; respect in that wind.
Wind decreased so 85l/4.5m for a while, 4m would have been better as gusts very strong
